Overview

Individual Care

Our specialists are health professionals in the purest sense. They are dedicated to the health of children, enjoy making a difference, and appreciate the trust you have placed in them. You are assured of specialised, individual care. Your child will remain under the care of the specialist to whom you have been referred. This relationship means that your specialist knows you and your child. The dedicated nature of our specialists is such that they are constantly reviewing your child's diagnosis and the best course of treatment. Our specialists are available to you and encourage your input.

Strength in Numbers

We are the largest specialist paediatric dental practice in Queensland, operating at numerous sites in the state. Our patients come from local, national and international locations. The benefits of having more than one specialist in our practice include shorter waiting times for your child to see a specialist, fast emergency triage, comprehensive care, and access to a lifetime of cumulative knowledge and experience.
Our specialists know each other well and enjoy working together as a team. They often hold diagnostic and case planning meetings, where one specialist will present a case to the board of other specialists (your child's identity remains confidential). This facilitates discussion between the specialists regarding diagnosis and treatment options for your child. It is just one of the extra things we do to ensure your child receives the best care.

How does my child become a patient at PDG?

We are a specialist practice. As such, we are a referral-only practice. If you want your child to be seen by a specialist, please contact your general dentist. Ask for your general dentist's opinion: "Does my child need to see a specialist?" If the answer is yes, you can ask to be referred to us.
If you don't have a general dentist, please contact us. We can put you in touch with a very professional general practice in your local area.
