Full payment is required on the day of consultation at our rooms. This may include:

  • Consultation
  • X-rays
  • Treatment

Full payment is also required prior to any surgery.

DentiCare Payment Plans

We offer the ability to pay off treatment on a payment arrangement plan. There is a setup and direct debit fee. A deposit is required to be paid. There are specific criteria you need to meet in order to be offered a payment plan.

 What you can’t use a payment plan for:

  • Hospital fees
  • Anaesthetist fees
  • Any other costs associated with your child’s treatment

Hicaps

Hicaps does not provide adequate coverage for specialist services. As such, we are unable to process private health insurance rebates in our rooms.

On the day of your consultation at our rooms you will be issued with a receipt for your payment. You can submit this receipt to your health fund (often online) to claim a rebate.

For treatment performed in hospital you will receive your receipt within three business days after the operation .

Medicare – Child Dental Benefit Scheme, and Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate Scheme

The Child Dental Benefit Scheme is very limited and does not cover the range of paediatric specialist services.

If your child is eligible for the Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate Scheme, please advise us when scheduling your appointment.

Early Release of Superannuation

You may be eligible for early release of your superannuation if you do not have the finances to pay for necessary medical expenses without accessing your superannuation.
The final decision to release your superannuation benefits early rests with the trustee of your fund(s).
